Spiritual Steps to Prosperity - Dr. Kenn Gordon

We are so excited to announce a "Brand New, Never Offered Before" four week class with Dr. Kenn Gordon!  

Four Spiritual Steps to Prosperity (and whatever else arises)  This is open to EVERYONE and is tithing based.  You don't need to pre-register, just show up.It runs 6:00 PM  - 8:00 PM at the Peace Centre on the following Mondays: 

October 30th & November 6th

November 20th & November 27th   

You won't want to miss this opportunity.

One of our long time members, Wynn Jamieson is going to Kenya to teach a "You Can Heal YourLIfe" course at Rev. Connie Phelp’s CSL Kenya. Wynn was wondering if by chance anyone might have an old or extra copy of Louise Hay’s "You Can Heal Your LIfe" book that she could use for her students. She’s also open to any metaphysical books anyone might like to pass along to her. She can take an extra “humanitarian” suitcase for free that she’d love to fill with goodies. She leaves in early November. If you can help, please talk with Wynn or Derek Hinchliffe Sunday morning.

Supporting everyone interested in “Creative Aging” . It begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Peace Centre, with Rev. Diane Hockey. All are welcome & encouraged to connect.

An informal gathering of eclectic sharing and connections. Every Tuesday at 2:00 at the Pandosy Peace Centre

One of the activities offered at a recent Minister's Conference in North Carolina was the opportunity to do a Firewalk. Although she wasn't sure she would actually do the walk, Dr. Deb wanted to experience what led up to it, and then decide if it was "right for me" to walk on fire. She learned "We are more than we think we are and we can do what our rational mind might think is impossible." Deb will share more about her experience on Sunday morning.

Home for the summer

We were so delighted with our first Sunday Celebration at the Royal Anne Hotel that we have decided to stay for the whole summer. Come and enjoy this beautiful space. It is warm and inviting. It is newly renovated and beautiful. It is the perfect summer home for the Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna Sunday celebrations.

We are keeping it simple all summer long. Our celebration starts at 10:30 am and we will be back out enjoying the sunshine at 11:30 am. 

Please join us. We would love to see you!!

We are on the move this summer

You may have heard that we are vacating the Kelowna Community Theatre for the summer. We will still be holding our Sunday Celebration each week. We will have the opportunity to try on some different venues for size. Please stay tuned to our newsletter and our What's Happening page to find out where we are each week.

Sunday July 9th the service will be held at 10:30 am the Royal Anne Hotel at 348 Bernard Avenue in downtown Kelowna.

Canadian New Thought Conference - A Huge Success

 If you attended the 10th annual Canadian New Thought Conference, then you already know that it was off the hook fantastic.

Here's what people have been saying about the weekend:

The beautiful and talented Tanya Lipscomb said "I "checked out" to CHECK IN with powerful connection and celebration. I am truly blessed to have been part of the musical team at the 2017 Canadian New Thought Conference in Kelowna this past weekend. I met some spectacular musicians and we shared magical moments on a stage set alight with LOVE! 

Nick said "Amy Bishop has a true gift for communicating through music. I'm trying to imagine a world where all of us let our light shine in the same way, by doing what we do."

Angela said "So amazing, what a blessing this weekend was....sharing.... 

The very wise and lovely Reverend Karin Wilson said "My mind is expanded beyond the beyond!!!!! Thank you to all those incredible beautiful amazing talented heart-connected angels - all genders all colours all faiths all sexualities - all of the all - who made the 10th Annual Canadian New Thought Conference Kelowna real and transformative for so many!! I love you all!!!!!!!!!!" 

The very funny Dr Pat Campbell said "What a day at the Canadian New Thought Conference in Kelowna. Out of the many wonderful speakers, workshops, and music, I think my favorite thing was the medley of Canadian rock songs the band did tonight."

Rev Jaine Ryder said "I am also resonating with the true beauty and connection of this event. It was so very heart-focused and anchored in music and the opportunities to connect one on one with each other were obvious. What a gift!" 

The iconic Dr. Arleen Bump said "Your music team was one of the best I've ever heard and I applaud the commitment, work and dedication that was put into their preparation.  The results were heart filling!"

Mindfulness Course hosted by CSLK and UBC-O

We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with UBC-O to offer a mindfulness course taught by Rev Jeanette Vinek and Rev Corinne Crockett. This course is intended to bring together diverse faith groups for the common practice of mindfulness.
