Happy New Year!

As we step into the New Year we want to tell you about all the things that are going on at the Centre this winter.

First of all, we will be following along with the Centers for Spiritual Living theme of 'Creating a Values-Based Life' this year.  Join us as we step into a greater experience of our potential.

We have a new class in a new format coming up. Rev Nadene Rogers will be facilitating 'Prosperous Me'. Check out the poster for more information. This course runs for 30 days. There is a 20 minute call each morning to set the tone for the day. You can register on our website.

Our SOM 103 - Building a Healing Consciousness course is going to start on March 6th. Deepen your understanding of Affirmative Prayer. You can also register for this course on our website.

At the end of January we will be starting our annual Season for Peace and Non-Violence campaign. Here is some more information about this:

The Gandhi King Season For Nonviolence was co-founded 19 years ago in 1998 by Dr. Arun Gandhi and The Association for Global New Thought.  It is an awareness campaign of the memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., spanning 64 days commencing January 30th and ending April 4th.  The purpose of the campaign is to bring attention to the philosophy of attaining peace through nonviolence actions as demonstrated by legendary leaders such as Gandhi, King, Chevez, Mandela, and the Dalai Lama.  Over 900 cities in 67 countries participate.  CSL Kelowna will again participate with a variety of events such as movies, meditation, and the Peace Rock Walk on March 25th.  Further detail on events TBA.

Keep an eye on our newsletter for more details on the different Season for Peace and Non-Violence activities.
